Actor Jim Carrey once bought a motorcycle with a plate that read “NO TAG”, clearly in jest. As a result, the actor received several tickets for various traffic violations. Little did he know that when a police offer issues a ticket to somebody with a vehicle that has no license plate, they often write “NO TAG” on it. Unfortunately for Mr. Carrey, in some cases that was interpreted as if it was an actual plate, hence the tickets.
